Positive Home Care of Maine was founded by people who have spent their careers showing up for others.

Wendy Doyon, our CEO, grew up in a small Maine town where hard work and looking out for your neighbors were simply a way of life. As a woman of faith, those values have guided every chapter of her career. She studied at three major universities and has spent decades as both an entrepreneur and a Clinical Social Worker, with a consistent focus on raising the standard of care for people who are too often overlooked or underserved.

At her private practice on Lisbon Street in Lewiston, Wendy provided outpatient mental health counseling to people of all ages and backgrounds. That work deepened her understanding of what Maine families need when it comes to care at home, and it made clear that a gap existed. People across the state were not getting the compassionate support they deserved.
