Our Mission

Serving Rural Maine Communities

Positive Home Care of Maine exists to reach elderly residents in rural communities—the hardest-to-reach areas of our state where access to quality home care is limited.

Many Maine seniors live in remote towns and unorganized territories far from family. Large agencies won't travel to these communities, leaving vulnerable neighbors without support.

We're changing that.

If You Live in a Remote Area, We Need YOU

Do you live in:

  • Aroostook County (Fort Kent, Presque Isle, Houlton, Madawaska)
  • Washington County (Machias, Calais, Eastport, Jonesport)
  • Piscataquis County (Dover-Foxcroft, Greenville, Milo)
  • Somerset County (Skowhegan, Madison, Pittsfield)
  • Franklin County (Farmington, Wilton, Rangeley)
  • Other rural Maine communities

You are exactly who we're looking for!

Be a good Samaritan. Do something positive in your community. Help us reach elderly neighbors who deserve to age safely at home.
